74HC165 Breakout – 8-Bit SOPI Serial-Out/Parallel-In

Description The IC 74HC165 can read an input of up to 8 parallel lines and produce a single, serial output. It’s a great way to increase the number of inputs of a microcontroller. The breakout use standard 2.54mm pitch pin holes, easy for prototyping. Wide Operating Voltage Range of 2 V to 6 V Parallel-to-Serial Data Conversion, 74HC595 works the other way round – Serial to Parallel data conversion.
